In english class we are reading the story "A Christmas Carol." with ebeneezar scrooge, the three ghosts, well four if you include Jacob Marley. The story is about a man who is very sanctimonious, mean, and just a scrooge. He is visited by three ghosts, past, present, future, in order to change his ways and understand that happiness is more important than money. Scrooge learns to love and be gracious after seeing his own death, gasping his last breath alone, then being robbed by pickpockets, and not being able to stop them. He begs future to give him another chance. he changes his ways and saves his life. I don't know what that has to do with anything that i'm going to say, but it just kindof came to my mind. heres what i wanted to say.

As I was decorating my families Christmas tree, I remembered all of the wonderful times that I'd had under that tree. Truely too many to remember. Holiday cleaning and decorating is lots of fun... well the decorating is. But the satisfactory feel of knowing that it's your work of art and accomplishing something that looks so beautiful, really feels good. My favorite part of Christmas has always been the Christmas tree. I remember how happy i've felt and how many times i've had my breath taken away by the beauty of all the ornaments of angels singing, doves flying, bells ringing, every single one of them glistening under the lights strung on the tree. The memories replaying in my head are to special to say. I don't even care about the presents under the tree. Sometimes I just wish that time could stop for a while, capturing that very moment, and letting me enjoy it just for a while. It's almost like taking a photo, except that's just a captured moment in time. Camera's are not able to capture true happiness or love, only a fraction of that moment, even so a pictures worth a thousand words, but true peace, timeless.
